Hi! 

We moved to Vancouver Island (off Canada’s west coast) in the summer of 2003.  We came looking for a change from the dry, extreme weather on the Canadian prairies.  We found it!  It is BEAUTIFUL here.  We love the weather (rain in the winter!), the ocean, the forests, and the mountains.

Niel has had many careers: welder, machinist, and high school teacher.  He is now a wood artist.  He has a great shop and gallery.  You can check out his work at:   Wood Art Gallery

Judy's background is computer programming (the Saskatchewan Research Council then the University of Saskatchewan) and gardening. Since moving she has worked outdoors -- at a farm, a garden centre, and a golf course. 

We both love hammocks, so we decided to go into the business of selling them.  The outdoor rugs are a bonus!  We hope you like our site and our hammocks and rugs.
